In the US and Canada, a resume is a one or two page summary tailored to each job, while a CV is a longer, complete record of your career used mostly for academic, research and medical roles. In many other countries, “CV” simply means resume.

On a scan tailored to one job description, about 75% is a sensible place to stop editing. Below about 50% usually means a structural problem with the file or a resume aimed at a different role.

No. A resume that parses badly is not rejected automatically. It simply fails to show up in recruiter searches, or shows up with missing content. That is why Rezoom shows you the exact text the software extracts.

Not always, but send one when the job post asks for it, when you are changing careers or when you apply to a small company where a person reads every application. A short, specific letter helps more than a long, general one.

Payments are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund. If you were charged in error or could not use a paid feature, contact us and a real person will review it.

The PDF goes straight to the Rezoom app and is not stored on the website. It is not sold, shared or passed to third parties, and you can delete any scan or your whole account at any time.

Rezoom uses a small number of service providers: hosting, AI services, payments, analytics and customer support. The Privacy Policy names each one and explains your rights.

Yes. You can delete individual scans or your whole account at any time. You can also ask us to erase your personal data by emailing info@rezoom.io.
